Completed in 2024, Aura House Yoga Shala at Green Villageis a serene and sustainable retreat located in the heart of Green Village, a unique bamboo houses complex in Blumbungan, Bali, Indonesia. Designed by IBUKU, the center serves as a tranquil space for travelers, expats, and locals to reconnect through yoga. Green Village, known for its communal environment, is a hub of sustainable living. With its focus on harmony, sustainability, and balance, Aura House Yoga Shala at Green Village creates an ideal setting for rejuvenation and mindfulness within this eco-conscious community.
The arches mirror the flexibility and flow of yoga, while the roof, crafted from flattened bamboo, complements the graceful curves of the structure. This low-sweeping roof arches gracefully above, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere that encourages freedom of movement and mental clarity. The bamboo arches rise from a dark stone foundation, forming a synclastic dome that adds a sense of protection to the space. allowing light to pour into the space and illuminate the earth-toned walls. At 7 meters in height and with a floor size of 139 m², both shalas offer expansive, yet intimate spaces that invite energy to flow freely, making them perfect for deepening your practice and fostering tranquility
